Small construct, chaotic evil

Description

You sit down for a warm Thanksgiving and surprisingly there are no big disasters, no political tirades, no newfound racism in the extended family. Everything seems to be going well…too well. At that moment the turkey sprouts claws and flaps its wings, snarling above the table!

The Poultrygeist shrieks! A void of endless burning stuffing drips through the maw of sharp fangs as a boney tail with a bird head bursts from the other side. Your grandmother casts a Shield of Faith on your younger cousins as she excitedly brings out her flail. She begins her yearly retelling of how back in her day she had to travel a whole day to kill a Poultrygeist, uphill, in the snow, both ways.

Your mother sighs “Well at least your father didn’t forget the pie at Aunt Helen’s this year.”

You unsheath your broadsword and sigh heavily as the arguing commences. So close. So close.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The Poultrygeist makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 +4) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 +4) slashing damage.

Stuffing Breath Weapon (Recharge 5-6). The Poultrygeist exhales a 30-foot cone of burning stuffing. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 42 (12d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Reheat Leftovers. In lieu of an attack, once per round the Poultrygeist may shoot a beam of necrotic energy from its tail into a cooked food source within 30 feet. This food source sprouts wings and claws and fights as an ally for the Poultrygeist. This ally has and AC of 13, 20 speed, 1d10 hitpoints, and +3 to its single claw attack which deals 2d4 damage. Beware the gelatinous cranberry cylinders.
